Kelee Katillac and Steve Heiffus have a collective 80 years of experience between them in the field of interior design, architecture, and construction.
“We must have started just out of the crib or maybe in a past life!” Katillac joked in a recent interview. That just might be true, as their affinity for designing for historic homes seems to come from first-hand knowledge. Their historic yet modern ethos allows them to work in styles from the 17th to 21st centuries, helping their clients to make informed architectural references. However, by interjecting modern elements their projects have a relevant, up-to-date approach designed to express the owner’s personal style. Katillac has been a guest on CNN, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Discovery Channel, Pure Oxygen, The Family Network and many others.
Katillac or Heiffus’ work have been featured in the pages of USA Today, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Introspective, Designer Builder, Body & Soul, The Utne Reader and hundreds of other publications worldwide. In addition, Katillac is the author of two award winning books and her latest, Historic Style, is due in 2023. Katillac and Heiffus are the founders of Design Gives Back, having provided room makeovers for those that are critically ill or in-need. Katillac resides as Design Principal for Flint Hall Interiors.
